Siam Paragon Bangkok is one of the biggest shopping centers in Asia

All over the city, you will be able to find exquisite antiques and handicrafts, stylish local fashion labels and beautiful home furnishings. Start in the heart of the city. Clustered around the Siam BTS Skytrain Station, the Ratchaprasong area offers a heady mix: trendy shopping, dining, hotels, leisure, entertainment and even a sacred site, the Erawan Shrine of the famous four-face Buddha.

Along Silom Road, the Suan-Lum Night Bazaar is always buzzing, and is a favourite with visitors who are after some local shopping, food and entertainment. Located in the north of the city, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is the biggest and best. Reputed to be the biggest bazaar of its kind in the world, it’s a maze of colourful, small shops. Shop for home decorations, artworks, Thai handicrafts and lots more. Prepare to spend at least half a day browsing and haggling here.
